Fall | Winter 2015-2016

"The ‘classic’ has stood the test of time. It is timeless, immediately identifiable, and it is that which remains when fashion has passed. Classics are encountered in fashion, but also in literature, music, film, and applied design. As a designer it is important to know your classics. This means researching into the origins of classic clothing forms and learning to recognise them, so that you don’t just know the fundamentals of what classic fashion means but you can also design them for yourself, comment on them in your own designs, and provoke new ideas."
